This beautifu l Mojave Desert property is located half way between Palmdale and Victorville and I am very familiar with the area. I grew up in Los Angeles and when I was a kid my father would drive us out to between Palmdale and Lancaster to hunt rabbits with 22 caliber rifles. This is no longer possible as there are houses and businesses there now.
In the springtime it is still popular to explore the area seeking the spectacular annual display of wildflowers.
In the winter, you can enjoy skiing and other snow activities at Big Bear and return home the same day. For a weekend, the ski resorts in the High Sierras are world famous.
During the summer, you can count on warm to hot days and cool evenings. You can also drive to the beach and back. And in Southern California there are glorious beaches as well as “coast.”
The desert communities in the Mojave have been growing. They are far enough away from Los Angeles, but also close enough. L.A. provides great opportunities for entertainment, health care, business, and virtually anything.
This is a perfect time to buy in this area. Prices are down and roads and services continue to expand. As investment property, I believe this to be perhaps the best value we offer. As a retirement option, the high desert has always been popular for its dry healthy environment.
