Land Usage
Whether you have recently purchased some land or are interested in purchasing land but don’t quite know what you can or should do next? The options are wider and more plentiful than you can possibility imagine.
Small Lots
First off, a small city lot or a small rural lot is one of the better investments one can make. If it’s a rural lot and you’re not really interested in country living, hang on to it and wait until the city gets closer to you. As the city expands and get closer to your property, the property value grows and grows. Then you can choose to either; build on the property then sell the property and house for a big profit or you can flip the land and enjoy raking in the profits without any risk. A small city lot is already valuable no matter what the size. Whether it is commercial, industrial or residential, the value is good and it’s guaranteed to grow. If it’s in the city or just outside of the city, a small lot is the perfect start to an investment portfolio.
Large Acreage
Acreage lots are always a good investment for how many options you have. You could subdivide the lot and sell it off piece by piece to builders or other investors. A great idea for a large lot is to start a trailer park or campgrounds and generate residual income through lot fees and rent. If it’s a more rural property; oil, mineral rights or timber can make you a small fortune with just what’s on the property. You could also flip the land and profit greatly from that.
